Urban Heritage and Development in Dar Es Salaam
Exhibition, 26th September 2015, National Museum and House of Culture
As part of the DAR HERITAGE DAYS 2015, we’re proud and excited to announce the temporary art exhibition Impose/Expose in Dar’s historic centre. The exhibition will feature Tanzanian art works in public space dealing with the topics of heritage, cultural identity and urban development. The exhibition is financed by the European Union in Tanzania. Come to the exhibition opening at National Museum of Tanzania on Saturday, 26th September!
Throughout October 10th, 2015, there will be guided walking tour through town and experience our exhibition “IMPOSE/EXPOSE. Art revealing Space”.
Every Saturday, tours start at the National Museum at 10.30, 11.00, 12.30 and 13.30. You can book your space in advance at impose.expose@gmail.com
Various art pieces dealing with the topics of urban heritage, identity and city development are located across town in public space – making the exhibition a real first for Dar es Salaam!
