Gözde Şarlak Krämer, is an urban planner and a researcher based in Berlin and Istanbul. Her work spans academic and applied research, teaching and design projects. She holds a master’s degree from Bauhaus University Weimar European Urbanism department. She worked as a lecturer at İstanbul Bilgi University Design Faculty’s Architecture Department between 2013-2016. Gözde is currently a PhD Candidate at İstanbul Technical University faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning. Her research investigates alternative food networks in metropolitan areas. Among her research interests are critical urban theory, political ecology, urban and regional theory and urban sociology.
